The Kent Blaxill Half Marathon

The Kent Blaxill Half Marathon will take place at 11am on Sunday 29 October at Skyliner Sports Centre, Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds.

The route will send runners north and then west on Mount Road, before heading south on a footpath through Moreton Hall and passing beneath the A14. At the end of the footpath will be your first water station where you will turn right, and then take a left into the village of Rushbrooke. Note there will be a diverge point here where the marathon runners will turn right. You will take a right in the village to head south and then a left to go east into Bradfield St George, where you will pass your second water station. After a right turn a couple of lefts will take you north and then west into Rougham and your third water station.  A couple more lefts will take you west into Blackthorpe. After reaching the village you will turn left, heading under the A14 as your travel north into Battlies Green. You take a left onto a footpath running beside the road and pass your fourth water station as your return west to Moreton Hall. You will turn left at the roundabout to head back to the Skyiner Sports Centre to finish.

Entrants must be at least 17 years old on race day. We will be applying for a UK Athletics race licence and our courses will be officially measured. There will be medals and goodies for all finishers, and the race will be chip timed.
