Some 411 runners completed their choice of marathon, 10k, fun run, or HaverHalf - the JMP Furniture Half Marathon on Sunday 7 April when Haverhill Runs - the Phoenix Events East Running Festival returned.

Haverhill Runs - the A-Plan Insurance Running Festival 2018 was held on Sunday 11 March in aid of West Suffolk Hospital's My WiSH charity Both sexes set new course records in the HaverMara, with Alasdair MacBean completing the 26.2 mile course in three hours 11 minutes 24 seconds, with Sharon Frost the first woman home in three hours 38 minutes 22 seconds. The Haverhill Running Festival 2017 was held on Sunday 9 April. The winner was Paul Galt in 3 hours 13 minutes 2 seconds, while setting a new course record for the ladies was Puri Mesegeur-Bernal in 3 hour 53 minutes 52 seconds. You can view the full results by clicking here

Haverhill's first marathon was held on Sunday 10 April 2016 as part of the Haverhill Festival of Running. Ben Cuthbert set the record time of 3 hours 13 minutes 56 seconds, with Trudi Morrish the first lady home in 3 hours 56 minutes 53 seconds. You can view the full results here. 

The route is a two lap course, though different laps, taking runners around the rural countryside of Suffolk and South Cambridgeshire. You can view the current route map by clicking here.
