Sam Sadler took the top gong in 1.16.12, with the accolade for first lady going to Mel Alexander in 1.28.37. Jason Corner took home the prize in the Sprint+ duathlon in 2.37.32. Children aged from eight also competed in the aquathlon, with various distance of swimming and running
St Eds' Duathlon was held for the first time on Sunday 19 June 2016.
20 athletes competed with distances including Sprint (5km run, 23 kilometre cycle, 2.5km run) and Sprint+ (double the Sprint).
Gordon Irvine was the first Sprint duathlete to cross the finish line in 1 hour 9 minutes 57 seconds, with Justine Anthony's 1.20.46 the fastest female time. Karl Hiner won the Sprint+ duathlon in 2.19.38.
