Subject to Covid restrictions permitting, the Haverhill Running Festival will return in 2021.
Some 411 runners completed their choice of marathon, 10k, fun run, or HaverHalf - the JMP Furniture Half Marathon on Sunday 7 April when Haverhill Runs - the Phoenix Events East Running Festival returned.
Haverhill Runs - the A-Plan Insurance Running Festival 2018 was held on Sunday 11 March in aid of West Suffolk Hospital's My WiSH charity. In the fun run, Daniel Hodge was the first boy to cross the finish line in ten minutes 36 seconds, ahead of first girl Scarlett Webb in 12 minutes 45 seconds. The Haverhill Running Festival 2017 was held on Sunday 9 April. Martin Courtois was the first boy home in 9 minutes 26 seonds, with the first girl Hannah Troop in 12 minutes 13 seconds. You can view the full results by clicking here
The HaverSports all-age fun run returned in 2016, with 36 aspiring runners and their parents completing the 2.5km route. Stephanie Allen won in 10 minutes 57 seconds, just a second ahead of the first boy Tom Mason. You can view the full results by clicking here.
2015 saw HaverSports hold fun runs, open to all ages, before both Haver10 - the Sanofi 10k, and HaverHalf - the JMP Furniture Solutions Half Marathon.
The 2 kilometre races are open to all ages, and are ideally suited to families and children, with all competitors getting a medal and goody bag.
